Millinda came to hear from us via Carina – they are sisters-in-law. Carina has also made multiple donations. Millinda passed on her wedding gown, along with a christening gown, to Carina and she passed it on to us.
Traditionally if I describe a wedding gown as a two-piece I define it as a top and bottom, but not in this case. This wedding gown is made in white bridal satin with lace detail. It has a jewel neckline with long set-in-sleeves and a bow detail in the front. What makes this gown so unique is that it has an additional layer which can is worn over the gown, give it the non-traditional Watteau train.
She also donated a christening gown with several layers of lace detail and complimenting pink ribbon bows and ribbon roses.
Thank you Millinda for your generous donations.
A total of 14 Angel Gowns were repurposed.
