After my conversation with Chrismari on 21 June 2017 I was chatting with Siobhan later that same morning, having met her through her brother a few months earlier and became friends with her through that friendship. We were chatting about what we are up to and the usual stuff when I mentioned to her my earlier conversation with Chrismari.
She immediately offered her wedding gown as well, saying that it is only stuffed in a bag in the top of her closet and this way it can be repurposed for something good. It was this conversation that made me realize the importance of what this can mean to parents going through this time of grief.
Her beautiful vintage themed trumpet style wedding gown is done in ivory satin with a complimentary stretch lace long sleeves and sweetheart neckline, back zipper closure and is finished off with a court length train.
Thank you Siobhan for donating your wedding gown to The Angel Gown® Initiative.
We repurposed 12 Angel Gown® garments from her wedding gown; 2 Newborns, 2 Preemies, 2 Tinys and 6 Micros. For a quite a while 4 of the Angel Gown® garments served as a sample set I used as an introductory tool to the hospitals, but they were later donated off as I replaced them with a new sample set.
