Matty Swanepoel

I first met Matty at a function where I accidentally became a guest speaker for the evening. My topic of discussion was naturally The Angel Gown® Initiative. This drew her in.

So many different kinds of trim.

She told me of all these wonderful little bits and pieces of things she has boxes at home she would like to donate. She took my details and a few weeks later she gave me a call and we went over to fetch them.

She has the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. She’s an elderly lady full of life and a bubbling personality. She invited us in for a cup of tea and freshly baked bran muffins – deserts can be healthy as well you know. We talked for hours, mostly we listened and she talked, but it was worth it. She “adopted” us as her children and we go visit her on a weekly basis. She also makes the most beautiful hand folded ribbon roses.

She gave us a big box full of TAGI goodies. From lace and lining, to ribbon and trim. So many many goodies we can work with.

Thank you Matty for sharing so much with us.

Eric Elronde and the TAGI team.
