The fabric for this special little gown came from Australia and was handcrafted by Helene in 1973. A lector that was retiring did the delicate embroidery by hand under a magnifying glass while on a boat cruise!
This special message accompanied the gown: “Dit gaan met seënwense na daardie spesiale iemand en dit is my gebed dat dit bietjie sal bydra tot troos vir ‘n mamma en pappa wat hulle kindjie terug moes gee”
