Anita Dippenaar

A card Anita’s mother painted.

Anita first made contact with us via email after reading about us in the newspaper.

On the morning of 21 October 2017 she mailed her wedding gown to us all the way from Potchefstroom, along with all the fabric that was left over during the construction process. On the morning of 27 October we fetched it from our local post office – this was the first parcel sent to TAGI via mail and we were so excited.

Anita on her wedding day.

Anita and her aunt made her wedding gown and in 1981 she walked down the isle. She sent me a beautiful card that was hand painted by her mother and in this card she shared some beautiful sentiments with us and a little bit of the history of her dress.

This beautiful bridal satin wedding gown has an Empire waistline emphasized with a lace bodice, collar and sleeves.

Thank you Anita for sharing all of this beauty with us!

In October 2018 a total of 31 Angel Gown® garments were repurposed.
